A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school located in Garland, TX. This contracted role is scheduled to start as soon as possible and extend through May 23, 2025. The position requires onsite presence at the high school level and involves direct work with students in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students K-12
- Provide individualized therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Manage cases effectively, coordinating documentation and communication with educational staff and families
- Collaborate with professionals within the school to support student development and meet educational goals
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong clinical skills in evaluation, therapy, and case management
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
